Tests for prototypes, surveys on your production site

Know if it worksbefore you build more.

01 · How it works

Before launch you test, after launch you ask

Both run through the same script. They differ in when and whom you ask.

02 · Getting started

From prototype to answers in three steps

  1. 1

    Add one script

Paste it into your site, or ask Lovable, Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex to do it. Check the install with one click.

  2. 2

    Write tasks and questions

Start from a template. Tasks complete themselves when the person reaches a page, clicks a button or your app sends an event.

  3. 3

Send the link, read the results

Ten people are enough for a first insight. Success rates, times, paths, heatmaps and answers update as they go.

This is the whole installation

Works with anything that runs in a browser: Lovable, Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, v0, Next.js, plain HTML.

<script src="https://trytack.io/r/v1.js" data-site="pk_…" async></script>
03 · Use cases

What can Tack help with?

Each comes as a ready template. Adjust the texts and send the link.

04 · Results

Results the whole team understands

As soon as people answer, without exports or spreadsheets. And now Tack tells you on its own what to fix first.

  • Success and timeFor every task, how many people made it, how long it took and how hard it felt.
  • Where people dropped offThe steps where people stop, and each participant’s path through the pages.
  • Click heatmapsWhere people click, including clicks on things that do nothing.
  • Recommended improvementsNewAfter five completed sessions, Tack writes up what gets in people’s way most, what to change and what they said. One click copies it as a brief for an AI agent.
05 · Templates

Not sure what to ask? Start from a template.

Each template answers one common question. Fill in a few details about your site, the rest is ready.

Test

Landing page check

A 10-second first impression, what people think you offer, and whether they find the price.

What it answers: Whether the page explains what you offer and leads people to the price.

Key flow

Sign-up, onboarding or ordering: three tasks with SEQ, then UX-Lite.

What it answers: Which step of the flow to fix first.

Prototype first look

Three minutes of free exploring, UX-Lite and what people would use it for.

What it answers: Whether the prototype makes sense before you build it properly.

Can they find it?

Three “Find …” tasks with an address rule; first click and shortest path.

06 · Features

Built for prototypes made in code

No iframe, also on mobile

Your prototype runs in a normal window and stays responsive. Tack is a small panel on top.

Tasks that check themselves

By page address, a click on an element or an event from your app. People can still say Done or Give up.

Paths, times and drop-off

Median and quartiles of time on task, the shortest successful path and where people left.

Heatmaps on the real page

Clicks and scroll depth painted over your current layout, per page and device.

Questions researchers use

SEQ, UX-Lite, CSAT, CES, NPS and PMF with fixed wording, choice, open answers and yes/no, in English and Czech.

Triggers that respect visitors

Time on page, scroll, exit intent, events, visit count, device, sampling and frequency limits. Pins skip forms and payment by default.

Preview before you publish

Try the whole test on your site without recording anything.

Private by default

Hosted in the EU, consent before recording, no third-party cookies and no fingerprinting. Typed text is never recorded.

07 · Pricing

Pay only for what you launch

No subscription, no monthly fee. One credit launches a test or a pin, whichever you choose.

1 credit to try it, right after you sign up

Create an account with just your e-mail. A credit launches a test or a pin, whichever you choose. After that you pay only for what you launch, with no subscription.

A test takes up to 100 completed sessions; a pin runs for 30 days and takes up to 500 answers. On the waitlist? Sign up with the same e-mail and you get 3 credits.

08 · Safety

Safe for your site

Tack is built to stay out of the way of the site it runs on.

Does not touch your page

Everything Tack shows lives in an isolated Shadow DOM. No global CSS, no changes to your elements, works under a strict Content Security Policy.

Cannot break your app

The script loads asynchronously after your page. Every part of it runs guarded, so an error inside Tack never reaches your app or your error tracking.

No cookies, no form data

Tack sets no cookies and never reads what people type into your site or the text of your pages. It records clicks, scroll depth and page paths.

Paths without personal data

Query strings and hashes are never sent, and path segments that look like e-mails, ids or tokens are masked.

Consent first

Respondents agree before a test records anything. Pins can wait for your consent banner with tack.consent().

Data stays in the EU

Everything goes only to Tack servers in the EU. No third-party trackers, no advertising, about 20 kB of code.

09 · FAQ

Questions

Does it work with Lovable, Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex?

Yes. The studio gives you a prompt to paste into the chat, and the tool adds the script for you.

Do I need Figma?

No. Tack tests what already runs in a browser, whether it is a prototype or your production site.

How do respondents take part?

You send them a link. It opens your site with a small panel that guides them through the tasks. No account and no install.

What exactly is recorded?

Visited pages (paths only, without query strings), clicks on elements, scroll depth, task outcomes and answers. Never what people type into your site, and nothing before they agree.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. On phones the panel becomes a sheet at the bottom that people can collapse while doing the task.

Where is the data stored?

In the EU (Railway EU West). Fonts and scripts come from our own domain, not from third parties.

I do not know what to ask people. Can you help?

Yes. The app has a How to section: when to use a test or a pin, how to ask and how to read the results. Every situation has a ready template; just fill in your product name.

Before you make it for real, try it on people.

Create an account in a minute. All it takes is your e-mail, no credit card. You get 1 credit to try it right away.
